REMNANTS

This ongoing photography project explores the human traces left behind by migrants navigating the Balkan Route.

In Bihać, Bosnia, near the Croatian border, makeshift camps and discarded belongings reflect the conditions of migrants attempting to enter the European Union.
Further northeast, in Subotica, Serbia, abandoned houses provide temporary shelter for those in transit.

Objects left behind like the torn shoes, blankets, and cooking tools, offer a glimpse into the daily lives of people on the move.
